Carrville United Church
The brick church pictured above was built in 1857 to host Methodist services. The land and the building were both gifts of Thomas Cook. The congregation was originally associated with Laskay and Hope and later Maple. Years after, the circuit changed again, becoming associated with Concord and Edgeley, with the minister residing at Edgeley. In 1925, the Methodists joined the Church union, with this building becoming known as the Carrville United Church. As a result of this change, the Church also became associated with Headford, Victoria Square and Thornhill.
