Robinson Cotton Converters Company enlisted the aid of Woodbridge women to assist with the war effort at home through the production of military uniforms. In addition to providing help in the production of textiles, from 1943 to 1945, both the company and workers also contributed financially to a fund that was distributed amongst various war charities and collected nearly $5,000.
