Dr F. W. Routley
Photograph of Dr. Frederick William Routley. Dr. Frederick Routley practiced medicine in Maple from 1909 to 1922. For 27 years, he was a Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Red Cross Society and travelled extensively in this capacity. He also helped to inaugurate the Ontario Hospital Association and the Blue Cross Plan for hospital care. He received many honours throughout his life, including a life membership in the British Red Cross. He passed away in 1951.
