Mar., 2018: "A Dude and her Pony," Circle M Ranch postcard, ca.1955

Established in 1936 by Charles Frederick Mavety, the Circle M Ranch was a cowboy and country singer retreat located near the intersection of Nashville Road and Highway 27 in Kleinburg. The ranch was a popular place to rent and ride horses through the countryside and watch rodeos, with visitors coming from across Canada and the United States. The ranch was also used as a movie studio, with many early Westerns starring the likes of Roy Rogers, Hop-a-Long Cassidy and Gene Autry filmed on the property.
