Agar Family

Thomas and Hannah Agar emigrated from Moolson, (Yorkshire, England) and settled on Lot 11, Concession 10 (at the intersection of present-day Huntington Road and Highway 7) of Vaughan Township in 1830. In addition to five generations of the family living on the homestead, other family members purchased land in Vaughan as the family expanded. Pictured above are a diploma and an indenture from the Agar Family Fonds.
