Constable Family
William Constable was born in Hull, England. He emigrated to Canada with his stepfather, William Jarott, in 1830. He worked in the lumbering business in Quebec for six years before moving to Vaughan Township, Lot 16, Concession 6 (the northeast area of Rutherford road and Pine Valley Drive) in 1841. He married Mary Jackson who was also from Hull and was the daughter of George Jackson. These records (pictured above) belonged to George, Mary, Herbert and Bruce, members of the Constable family.
