This is a book bench. There are ten book benches situated in and around Bromley to celebrate art and the cultural heritage of the area. They have been made into a trail. Details of which can be found at.....

This is obviously David Bowie. He spent much of his early life in Bromley. He went to one of the local High Schools where learnt to play a variety of instruments including the Ukelele, piano and saxophone. The rest is history.....

 

Unbelievably, while I was taking this shot a punk with a Mohican haircut was watching me. I politely enquired if he would mind sitting in the middle of the purple bench and stare me out? He politely declined as he didn't want to get his trousers wet.....Rock and roll 😁😁😁......
