Cold November evening, Colorado. The two coaches were wearing warm, insulated and hooded coats and gloves, and walked on the deck in their lined boots. The children would periodically get out of the heated pool to get their gear, such as fins for swimming laps. They laughed and chattered much of the time during their hour-long workout. All seemed so very normal to them. Earlier in 2022, the coldest temperature I've noted when they were still working out was 14F/-10C. Amazing!
