Foreground- Background
1) I chose this photo because the tree color compared to the snow coat on Mount Sopris. Also, the photo has the mountain in the rule off thirds spot so that the eye gets drawn to the mountain. There is not only the layer of trees in the middle, but also a few bushes within a few feet of me while I was taking the picture. This photo fits the requirement of foreground-background because the bushes in the front are right next to me, and then there are mountains and trees in the background which are the background part of the requirement.
2) In this photo, the shutter speed is 1/200, this shutter speed is neither slow or fast, it is almost in the middle. I did not need it to be fast or slow because the wind was not blowing in this photo and there was no movement. The Aperture is f/8.0, this is in the middle as well.
3) In my editing process, I cropped this photo closer and moved the mountain from the middle of the picture to the side so that it would be matching the rule of thirds. I also moved this photo closer so that the bushes would appear to closer to me when I was taking the photo.
4) While taking this photo, I had to position myself to where the trees in the photo naturally framed the mountain in the background. Also, I had to be there at the right time of day so that there would not be a weird shadow on the mountain. I finally had to make sure I got extra bushes in the bottom of the photo so that it would meet the expectation of Foreground-Background.
