Hallerhof Castle
The first mention of the castle, then a farmstead, dates from 1625.
Around 1830, Baron de Caters bought the castle. He had renovations carried out and turned the estate into a real castle park. After his death, the domain passes to other owners.
In the early 20th century, Baron Victor de Borrekens demolishes the old castle and builds a completely new one.
After Baron de Borrekens' death, the castle is sold and used as a centre for readaptation and rheumatism.
In 1978, the municipal authorities bought the entire estate and restored the castle. The estate was opened as a park and the castle became the home of municipal services.

De eerste vermelding van het kasteel, toen nog een hoeve, dateert van 1625.
Rond 1830 koopt baron de Caters het kasteel. Hij laat renovatiewerken uitvoeren en maakt van het domein een echt kasteelpark. Na zijn dood gaat het domein over naar andere eigenaars.
