Solarheatings park - Ærøskøbing
Ærøskøbing district heating`s production plant consists of a straw boiler and 4,900 m2 of thermal solar heating collectors, delivered by Arcon Solarheating in Skørping. Each collector is 12.56 m2 of the type HT.
To accumulate water from the straw boiler and from the thermal solar heating collectors a storage tank with the capacity of 1,200 m3 was built. The total storage capacity is now 1,400 m3, and consists of 3 storage tanks.
The thermal solar heating plant uses a system of variable flow on both the primary and the secondary side. By measuring the solar meter (w/m2) and the temperature of the thermal solar heating collectors it is possible to calculate the necessary speed of the flow.
