They are sometimes confused with fly spiders because their habits and behavior are somewhat similar.

In the English-speaking world, lynx spider are called jumping spider, including fly spiders.

However, this both are classified into another department.

The obvious difference is the eye is arranged in the circle shape, and it seems to be lined up in four rows in the bird Spider Department although the fourth eye is especially large front in the fly spider division in the array of eyes, and is arranged in three rows in the whole.
