In occasione della visita del Dalai Lama nel Giugno 2014 è stata inaugurata la statua del Buddha più alta d’Europa, che ha una storia molto particolare. Realizzata dallo scenografo Dante Ferretti per il film di Martin Scorsese “Kundun”, una volta finite le riprese, ha rischiato di andare distrutta. Fu però portata qui, dove lo scultore Alessio Pazzini e il suo staff l’hanno restaurata secondo precisi canoni iconografici buddhisti
On the occasion of the Dalai Lama's visit in June 2014, the tallest Buddha statue in Europe was inaugurated, which has a very special history.
