indian eyes(kajal)

Kajal, or Khol, is a compound of black pigments, metals, animal fats and minerals widely used in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa as eyeliner for the eye contour or to darken the entire eyelid. Its use has been known since ancient times, even in the age of bronze. But the first 'testimonies' are in ancient Egypt in 3100 BC, where the Khol powder was used by both women and men because it was believed that darkening the inside of the eye protected from solar rays
