Final Lettermark

Project Description: "For this project the students will design a typographic lettermark of their initials. The project requires the student examine the characteristic shape and structure of the two letters and determine how the two forms can be integrated into a unified whole to create a mark in which each letter is integral to the other. It demands attention to all the details of letterform design including stroke, weight, style, form, positive/negative space and contrast."

 

Artist Statement: This lettermark was inspired by fluidity and interconnectivity, and resembles a charm.
