Great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn (3)

This photo was taken 4 days before the great conjunction. On that day, the moon and the two planets could be in a single photo taken by using 500 mm lens (no trimming). It is clear that the apparent distance of the two planets was similar to the diameter of the moon; at the day of the great conjunction, the distance was diminished to about 1/4.

When you click once, you will see satellites of Jupiter. If twice, more clearly. In this photo the satellites were far from Saturn, while in the previous photo at the day of the great conjunction, the satellites were much closer to Saturn.
