Artist statement:
My theme behind my final portfolio was coffee. The reason I choose this topic was because I thought I could have a lot of fun with textures, angle of view, and the macro setting. I did a decent amount of overhead shots and that was because I wanted the viewer to see the coffee like they would when they are drinking it or making it. I used framing in the long glass tube to direct the eye towards the beautiful brown coffee beans. When I used macro the camera not only captured the picture but along with it, it captured the texture of the bean and the aroma too.
