Rhinocoris annulatus - Geringelte Mordwanze

This is a species of bugs belonging to the family Reduviidae (Assassin bugs) with a length of 12 - 14.8 mm. It occurs in northern and central parts of Europe and as far east as Siberia. Adults only feed on other insects which are often bigger than themselves. They have a strong proboscis and their sting is very painful for humans!
