Meadow Grasshopper - Gemeiner Grashüpfer

Meadow Grasshoppers (Chorthippus parallelus) are found in many parts of Europe from Scandinavia to Spain. They can be very variable in color. There are green, brownish and even pink and purple forms, but the green ones are most common. Nymphs (like this one) can be found as of April, adults from June until the beginning of October.
