Gateway In Fort Myers Florida August 2, 2018

 

The community of Gateway in Fort Myers located between 82 and Daniels. Gateway has changed drastically over the last five years. The introduction of the red socks training facility, Gartner Corporate Office and the Sky Walk shopping center. Gateway is conveniently located near the airport and interstate.

 

The Gateway community was started in 1986 when the developer, Westinghouse Gateway Communities, Inc., got a development order from Lee County. The community is now governed by Lee County, the CDD and its five member board. Each community under the CDD is governed by an HOA "Home Owners Association".

 

Education options in Gateway include three schools:

 

Gateway Charter Elementary School.

Gateway Charter High School.

Gateway Elementary School.

The proposal of a Gateway high school.
