This Solaris Ganz Trollino 18 of TPER Bologna is seen at Bologna Centrale Railway Station waiting to depart on Route 33, which makes an anticlockwise loop on the avenues which surround the old walls of Bologna.
Like Route 32, route 33 is also a trolleybus route and has been kept intact since the 1960s, despite the temporary suspension of 9 years of the Trolleybus service in Bologna between 1982 and 1991.
These Solaris bendy trolleybuses were purchased as new by the late ATC Bologna in 2010 and are used on routes 13, 13A, 14, 14A, 14C, 32 and 33, which comprise Bologna's trolleybus network.
