TPER 6404 - Route 32
This Iveco Urbanway 18 Hybrid of TPER Bologna is seen opposite Bologna Centrale Railway Station waiting to depart on route 32 which makes a clockwise loop around the external avenues on the same orientation as the old city walls. Route 32, despite being a trolleybus routes, is also operated by normal or hybrid buses.
TPER's fleet of Iveco Urbanway 18 Hybrid (Series number 6400 to 6408) had been bought by TPER from Maresca and Fiorentino car dealership in Bologna as buses to operate on Route F Stazione-FICO Eataly World, but the low amounts of passengers forced TPER to operate 12m buses on route F and transfer the Urbanways to other main routes such as 13, 14, 19 and 27.
The Urbanway 18 Hybrid bendy buses numbers 6400, 6401, 6402 and 6403 have been loaned by TPER to START Romagna until the Spring season of 2020, when the Vanhool Exquicity 18 trolleybuses purchased for such route will take over and will start the full operation of Metromare.
