The Boab Tree

Granted, this boab tree is still very young and I photographed him early in the morning on a parking lot near the water. In Broome you can see a lot of these trees, there are whole avenues here, but most of them have been planted there. I assumed that I would take many more photos of Boab trees, but unfortunately I just saw this one opportunity. This coastal city is also a kind of natural border and you will not find a single one to the south, unless you head north to the Kimberleys.
