Palatinate trees
It is always a pleasure to visit the Palatinate Forest with all its beautiful castles in Rhineland-Palatinate.
It is also the federal state with the largest share of forests in Germany.
Many myths and legends are told here from bygone days, even the English king Richard the Lionheart was here in the castle Trifels (middle left) for three weeks in captivity.
I have already shown a very similar panorama that I had made with the telephoto lens and after I took it, I quickly switched to the wide angle.
