Bowling Green station
Bowling green station. One of the two still standing Station headhouse dates to 1904.
Bowling Green was a significant cultural site before Europeans arrived. Once was residence for the chief of the Leni Lenape Native tribe at the southern end of the Wickquasgeck trail, now called by its modern name Broadway. Hence why it's non straight course north through Manhattan.
