Dalek Paradigm

Thought I'd show off a Dalek design I've been using lately, that I did steal from Ghost Hunter Gunn. Well not all of it, I doubt the internals are the same, and mine are a little slimmer cos I don't like putting stuff on the studs, and the eye stalks are different as well....such original design, very wow.

 

Anyway, this is just a nice collection of Daleks that exist in real life, but are an absolute pain to photograph properly. Don't know what it is, but red is not a colour that comes out well in real pics.

 

So we've got:

 

- The whole gang, Warrior, Emperor and Supreme. I actually like some aspects of the Paradigm daleks, so I've used some of the colour scheme for mine. Even the Dalek Emperor is dark blue like he was in...whichever of the DW videogames he appeared in. I based him on the Golden Emperor from the Daleks! series, but not exactly. He's got a glass bit at the front where you can see the Dalek mutant inside...well you could if it were real life, in reality it's just a nougat 1x2 plate. He's also got an orange eye to show off how special he is.

 

- Features. I like my daleks to have as much range f motion as they can, so I build them with moveable mid sections.

 

- Comparison. On the right is my main Dalek design up until now. I'm still gonna use it, cos it's a really good design, but the real ones don't look like that because I don't have any whisks...really need to work on that.

 

And that's the lot. Looking at em, these are good renders man, really good...wonder how I managed that?
