Commissioner Grayson, GCPD
That's certainly a title. Anyway, more from the unnamed universe that will never be expanded on. As you've probably already guessed, this is the GCPD...or some of it at least.
So a little background. As you all won't remember, in this universe Commissioner Gordon was shot and killed in the line of duty, leaving behind his daughter Barbara, who was adopted by Bruce Wayne. But who was his replacement?
If you guessed this guy then you would be wrong, as this guy is from the...
frantic note checking noises
Next Gen era. No, Gordons replacement was Ellen Yindel, who served as Commisioner during the Original era of the "story".
Now onto this bloke. The current Commissioner is a man called Dick Grayson, you might have heard of him. In this universe his parents still died at the circus, but Bruce Wayne wasn't there. He was...on holiday or some nonsense like that, so he never adopted Dick. Dick grew up obsessed with becoming a detective so he could solve his parents murder, which of course he eventually did. At some point he joined the GCPD, became a detective and the rest is history.
Should also probably point out that he is....imma say married to Barbara Gordon, which is sorta why she's seen as the true heir to the cowl, and Tourne is seen as...not that.
I'll also add he's not been in the job very long, at the point at which the "story" takes place he's been in the job nearly a year, she he's still getting used to it.
And now for the fun behind the scenes bit. Every time I've come up with something like this, Dick has been kicked to the Kerb and I have no idea why. So this time round I thought I'd actually try including him for once, and here he is. There's also two GCPD officers there as well, cos I forgot to make detectives thought I should probably show the law enforcement of Neo-Gotham, or whatever it's calling itself these days. There's also a police car, cos I fancied a bit of a challenge a few months ago and it's been sat on my desk ever since, hence the dust. It's modelled on the ones from Cyberpunk 2077, cos that's the same kinda vibe that Neo-Gotham has.
And i think I'd better wrap this up here. You'll probably see more from the unnamed universe, but only world building. I've finally worked out that I enjoy the world building aspect of this kinda thing far more than the story element, which is a shame but what can ya do.
That's it, you can go now and get back to your scrolling.
