ISS Erebus
Yup, still at the starships. This one actually started as a physical build believe it or not. The darker colours are because I just have more physical bricks in that colour, so it was easier to build in these colours.
Anyone familiar with Star Trek may have guessed that there's something amiss here. The starship being grey mainly, but the big giveaway is "ISS". Yes, the Erebus hails from the Mirror universe, and serves as part of the Terran Empire. Timeline wise I'd say it's from around about the 25th century. When I built this, I wasn't fully up to date with the history of the Terran Empire, so I was unaware it had in fact fallen some time before this. So let's say the Erebus comes from a mirror mirror universe.
I based the engines on the ones seen on the Enterprise J. The rest was just whatever flowed and worked well.
The name "Erebus" comes from the HMS Erebus, which was lost during an exploratory mission in the Canadian Arctic, along with her sister ship, the HMS Terror. Funnily enough, I've been calling this ship the Terror since I finished the physical model. Not sure why I changed it tbh. I guess Erebus is just a more interesting name. Might have a go at making an ISS Terror to go alongside the Erebus.
Naturally, I came across the tale of the Erebus and Terror in the TV series "The Terror", so I might have a go at doing a little story for the ships when I get ISS Terror made.
And I think that wraps things up. Just like last time, I've uploaded 5 pictures, each with a different view of the ship.
