Emergency Refuge Pod (ERP) (read desc)
Just a little build for Hibernia. Actually, It's not that little, it's surprisingly big. Got the inspiration for it from the floating tent things used at sea. Can't for the life of me remember their names, but that's where this comes from. Except instead of floating, this one's firmly anchored into the ground, to keep the occupants safe during particularly dangerous weather cycles.
There are hundreds of these pods dotted around the inhabited parts of Hibernia, most commonly on the routes between settlements. They're big enough to squeeze in four people, and come with a heating unit, sleeping bags, medical supplies as well as a few days worth of food as standard.
When taking refuge, it is recommended to use the radio inside to call for help, and to make sure the emergency beacon is lit before hunkering down for the duration of whatever weather situation is affecting you. If necessary, you can record an emergency message, and set it to be transmitted at 10, 30, or 60 minute intervals. Help will be dispatched, and you'll soon be safe again.
As always, please lemme know what you think :D
