Surprisingly, this was the bit I had most trouble with. My original plan was to have the seat built from somewhere within the cockpit, which probably would have worked. But then I remembered the convenient bars that were on the roof anyway, so I used them to clip the seat on. Best thing is that, even with the seat, there is still enough headroom for the pilots.
