England as I remember it. The restored Albert Memorial & the Royal Albert Hall.

In the Sixties this popular Kensington landmark was black with soot & came close to being demolished. The blinkered planners of the time could never have imagined the way it is now & how it originally was when built, one of the most spectacular monuments outside India. Planners, however, are just as blinkered now as they were in the sixties, at least in the UK.
