Southern Pacific 9738

The Westbound Winter Park Ski Train approaches the Big Ten curve located between the sidings of Rocky and Clay on the Moffat Tunnel line West of Denver on April 4th, 1992.

Power on this day was Southern Pacific GP60 #9738 and D&RGW SD40T-2 #5386 and according to Don Marson who was at the time the Director of Locomotive Management for the SP, this was the very first Southern Pacific engine assigned to the Ski Train!
