Union Pacific 7985
I am not sure what was more unusual, the Rocky Mountaineer equipment being moved across the Utah Desert or rain in the Utah Desert!
Either way, I got both as Union Pacific engine #7985 heads Eastbound between Solitude and Floy sidings in light rain showers with the positioning move of the train from Canada to Denver.
The regular run of this train will turn South from the mainline onto the Cane Creek Branch at Brendel so I made it a point to shoot it West of there on territory that the train may never see again!
