Blinking Apple

My essential question was 'Can I make something still-life become alive?'. I arrived at this question by knowing I wanted to shoot something that would make people feel creeped out or uncomfortable by making something you don't see everyday. What better way to do that then make a fake apple turn into a apple with human skin and an eye. Other essential questions I considered were making something cute look creepy or vise versa. My final piece answers my question by making something that has zero life become something that can blink at you. Using photoshop to create this photo was a learning process to figure out how to get the skin to wrap around the apple and blending the eye into the skin. I think my final photo is very successful with how it turned out. I learned a lot more photoshop skills and answered my essential question.
