Hierarchy Of Relative Placement
Wind energy in relation to fossil fuel energy. The pinwheel was placed near the oil rig to signify wind power. (I wanted to show motion so I shot this with a slow shutter speed but with a small aperture to maintain a clear focus of the rig. It was also quite sunny, given f/25.) There is also intended symbolism in the pinwheel designed with the American flag stars, stripes and colors. There is also a relationship between the shape of the pinwheel and the edges of the barbed wire.. Question- Does the symbolism work for you? This is from my archives and has never been shown so would love any feedback..
