ASC trigger
I just finished a functional restoration of a Bates B.A.R. bicycle from the period 1938-1942. The project began with a desire to build a functional 3 speed fixed gear bicycle around a Sturmey-Archer ASC hub. The frame is in its original finish and is unique in that while the front fork is by Bates, it is not their trademark Diadrant fork, however, the Reynolds 531 tubing is their Cantiflex design. Jason Rumfelt was an integral part of this project building and consulting on this project.
Photographed using a Sony NEX 5N using a Cooke Kinic 1 in. f/1.5 lens. A vintage English lens for a vintage English bike.
