Simon Anderson – Sake No Hana Brand Identity, Alan Yau

Restauranteur Alan Yau, famed for Hakkasan, Busaba Eathai and Yauatcha, opened Japanese fine dining restaurant and Ni Ju San bar in London’s Mayfair – Sake No Hana translates as sake of the flower. A textural pattern was created that illustrates the breakdown of rice in the process of brewing Sake, using the proportions of the pattern then defined a consistent visual language.
