Steam Into History

Nickle Plate 765 visited Central PA a couple times in 2012-13, and during those trips became the first steam locomotive to traverse the Horseshoe Curve under steam since Reading 2102 in August 1985 (that was a hot tow, though), and the first to climb the Alleghenies out of Altoona since...also 2102 (with GTW 4070 in second position). Here, the venerable Berk slows to a stop at CP AR in Gallitzin.

This shot was taken with a point-and-shoot before I knew jack about photography and composition. Somehow I made it follow the rules, though it is kinda bland.
