The desolation and decay of 3 bay high-sided hopper 970, the southernmost car in the Rockhill yard, is punctuated by the snow over the rails at the Oddfellows Cemetery Road crossing. The crossing and track behind the camera are passable for speeders, but the 'someday' when the Mikes roll south may never come.
