Dual leased P42DC power on the Piedmont

Piedmont 75 passes westbound through Elon, N.C. on April 18, 2024 with dual P42DC leased power near milepost 17.1 on the "NC-Line." The North Carolina Department of Transportation leased both P42DC locomotives from Amtrak due to equipment issues. The image was taken next to the former site of the Elon College depot.
