Chiaroscuro

I was excited about spotting this composition. It's not easy to find and isolate an interesting tree in the Ozarks. This one, however, was! It was a stark, white tree standing in the sun while the hillside behind it was cast in dark shadow. I was able to expose for the sunlit areas and really keep the tree standing out.
