Balladoole Keeill, Arbory, Isle of Man

The remains of the keeill, an Early Christian chapel, at Balladoole in Arbory, Isle of Man.

The site is remarkable for being built within an Iron Age hillfort, within which are also a Bronze Age cist burial and a Viking Age ship burial.

It is one of the most interesting, and beautiful, archaeological sites in the Isle of Man.

More information about it can be found in the book, 'A Guide to the Archaeological Sites of the Isle of Man.'
