Victoria Pier, Douglas
Before WW1, the Forresters took over the Falcon Hotel on Loch Promenade in Douglas, where Ann's mother, Margaret, was manageress before she married. They also rented the whole 'Sea Terminal' which can be seen in the foreground of this postcard. There was a huge restaurant open both day and night to feed the visitors on the nine boats arriving each day at the old Victoria Pier.
