Point of Ayre: Lighthouse behind the fog horn
The Winkie lighthouse on the rocks of the Point of Ayre in the Isle of Man, seen beyond the structure of the fog horn.
This smaller of the two lighthouses at the Point of Ayre was built in 1951 to account for the build up of the rocks here, which has been extending the Point of Ayre northwards ever since the first, larger, lighthouse was built in 1818.
