Crosh Cuirn: A Manx tradition for Oie Voaldyn
A crosh cuirn - a small cross of rowan twigs bound together by wool, none of which has been touched by metal.
This is a traditional Manx thing made at Oie Voaldyn (30 April) and put up over your threshold, in order to protect you home for the year ahead.
