Bridge Street, Peel, Isle of Man
Bridge Street, Peel, with Duke Street meeting it shortly before it meets the promenade and the sea.
We heard from a recent meeting of the Manks Dialect Group that within memory someone used to keep their cow in the backyard of one of the houses on this street. They used it for milking, & had to lead it through the house each day to be taken up to pasture on the brooghs.
