Discovery survey: Siding Spring Survey through CRTS SNHunt

Magnitude range: 16.3 - 19.5:

Position: RA = 06h53m11.0s, Decl. = -71°47'15"

 

The variable was found in the field of galaxy ESO 58-19.

 

A previous outburst found in the CRTS data in 2008 went unnoticed.

 

Gaia recorded an outburst in 2016 (Gaia16aqf).
