Arriva North East: Optare Solo M880 - YJ59GKE/2860, was seen here at Castle Bolton on Sunday the 3rd of June whilst operating Wensleydale Wanderer service 857 to Masham.

 

The Northern Dales man 830 has returned again this year, for the summer season, this year supported by the Northern PowerGrid and ran by Arriva North East Darlington depot.

 

Kicking the day of at Middlesbrough bus station at 9:15, Stockton High street 9:27, Darlington Town Centre 9:55, arrives into Richmond market place at 10:25, departs at 10:30, Reeth village Green at 10:55, Muker 11:22 where it meets up with the Preston Bus 830, passengers would board the Arriva service 830 if they want to get to Keld. Climbing over the very steep Buttertubs bank and arriving at the Hawes Wensleydale creamery at 12:08, the bus then goes into the Wensleydale Wanderer service 857 to Masham at 12:20, going Via Castle Bolton & Leyburn arriving into Masham at 13:45, it then departs Masham on the 857 to Hawes at 14:45 arriving at the Wensleydale creamery at 16:03, it then goes back onto Dalesbus service 830 to Middlesbrough via, Reeth, Richmond, Darlington, and Stockton, arriving into Middlesbrough at 18:53.
