Another try of field stacking with Canon 500D + kit lens + natural lighting, 30 exposure. Stacking with Zerene Stacker and post-processing with CS6.

 

 

I have been playing macro with entry level bodies (Canon 450D, 650D and now my friend's 500D) + kit lenses. Moreover, I have been doing micro with cheap unbranded objectives (e.g. less than 10USD for each). I am quite happy with the results.

 

 

If you play macro/micro for fun, forget all those dollar babies (e.g. macro lens, super macro lens, high quality objectives). Macro/micro fun is all about how you play with your cheap stuff, not equipping your bag with heavy and expensive devices.

 

 

I have not touched my stuff for more than 02years and recently I started to sell them out to clear my cabinet. This was captured while I did not have macro stuff with me anymore. 500D + kit lens turned out quite good result. Although I did crop as the magnification was so low, the macro effect is still there.

 

 

Have fun macro/micro with any stuff you have in bags.
