Longfin Eels

Willowbank is like a zoo for endangered New Zealand wildlife. I ran into a person who was working with a group of high school students. The students were feeding raw hamburger to Longfin Eels in the water. Some eels came pretty far out of the water in search of meat. Eels sometimes prey on young waterfowl, such as ducklings and cygnets.
